Independence Day

I had a blast using this amazing Make It Crafty image - I chose to do an Independence Day card!  I totally goofed and didn't do it Christmas themed like I was supposed to.  Whoops!  I have an incredibly hard time thinking Christmas when it's 100 degrees out!
I used Spectrum Noir on this and here's my breakdown.

Skin: FS2, FS3, FS4, TN4, LV2
Hair: TB1, TB2, TB3, TB5
Clothing: DR2, DR7, TB1, TB2, TB3, TB5, TB7

I'm entering this in the following challenges:

Bubbles and Sunshine

I have a couple new projects today!  These are both beautiful images by Art by Miran.  I colored both of them in Spectrum Noir markers.   I think I lost the marker information for the bubbles photo.  I usually take notes while I'm coloring but I either forgot or tossed them out.  My apologies!

This beautiful image I DO have the information for and it's as follows;
Skin: FS4, FS3, TN3, TN4
Hair: GB4, GB7, GB9, GB10, BT1, BT2, BT4, BT5
Outfit: FL1, FL2, CR10, CR11
Rocks: GG2, GG3, GG5

I REALLY wanted to use my florescent markers....so I did on this image.  I LOVE the pink and orange and they worked well on the swimsuit and cover up!

The Huntress

Today I am using this gorgeous image from The Paper Shelter, The Huntress.
I love ALL their images and this is just one of the newest I've downloaded.  I definitely suggest you go check them out!  I am also using this image in one of their challenges, #209, Photo Inspiration.  Using the photo below choose your color palette.

This was really fun and I used Spectrum Noirs on this image.  Here's the breakdown:

Skin: FS2, FS3, FS4, TN4
Hair: LG1, LG3, LG5. JG5, JG6
Dress: BG1, BG4, BG5, BG6, BG7
Flowers: HB2, LV2
Bow: DR6, DR7, TN9, CR1

I decided to play upon the greenery and the roof colors, which is where the green and gray brown come into the picture.  The flowers I pulled from the purple flowers in the photo and used a hydrangea/lavender combo.  The bow was comprised of some rusty colors as was in the chimney.

And just a little added trivia - my phrase, Tempus Fugit is Latin for "Time Flies"

I am also entering the image in the challenge over at Penny's Challenges, which is also being sponsored by The Paper Shelter!

Color and a Little Monochrome

I've been coloring up a storm - I have yet to make anything with them. I prefer to just color. I was an avid scrapbooker and card maker so it's strange that I don't want to do that right now, but I think I've found my niche! These are both Jade Dragonne images - I LOVE her images. They are gorgeous and such fun to color!  Most of my stuff is vibrant color but I also enjoy monochrome!

First image specs are (Spectrum Noir):
