All for Fall Contest
Here's my entry for the fall layout contest. I loved this photo of my son with his cousins at the pumpkin patch last year so I had to use it! I had a GREAT time doing this!!! Used embossing for the first time and that was nice and fun and messy too! I like messy!

French Manor Contest
Here is my submission to the French Manor contest. I am really excited about this one. I was hit with the idea because the clock is one of my favorite cuts from this cart. I decided, heck, I'm going to make a real clock! So I did! I started with a 12 x 24 " canvas and painted it teal, making messy brush strokes. Then I cut out a 11 1/4" cut of the clock from FM and inked the edges to make it pop. I also used the layer on Eleanor cut out on vinyl and took the reverse of it, stuck it to the canvas, and painted that on with magenta paint - several layers - and then took some bronze ink and dabbed it on. After that, I cut out Medallion 2 for the face of the clock and Penwork on the base area of the clock to add a little flair. I painted those with the same magenta I did the top flair in and dabbed them with bronze ink. I took some special magenta and bronze paper to put underneath the 2 embellishments and glued them all down. Several coats of glossy Mod Podge later and voila! I cut a space for my clock pieces in the canvas and attached it. I've included 3 photos of the project - I wish I could fully capture the color and how neat it looks, but alas, even as a photographer with a light box, I could not show you all the neat details. I hope you enjoy it as much as I enjoyed making it!
