I've been working on making a banner for my daughter's 3rd birthday party and at first she wanted a Curious George party, so I started this. Now she wants a Dora party, so I'm going to work on that banner next, but I still love this one and will hang it! I created and drew my own coconuts and drew my own face on the monkey from Create A Critter to try and make him look more like George. The leaves are from CAC also, I believe and the letters are from Carousel.

Use a Cart Challenge - Week 2
This week's use a cartridge challenge asked us to use Create a Critter. Well, I just LOVE Create a Critter and I really didn't do it justice with my layout, but I needed to do this layout for my book I plan on finishing this year, so I went with it! The fish is the only cut from CAC - the pole is from Boys Will Be Boys, "Fishing" from Hannah Montana and the other letters are rub ons!

Magazine Challenge - Pop Up Neighborhood
This magazine challenge asks us to use Pop Up Neighborhood to create a project. Well, this was SO much fun. First off, I LOVE this cart. It's probably my favorite Circle cart yet. I wanted to create some artwork for my kids' play room and this is what I drew up. I used a fabric background and fabric for the forefront hill and everything else is paper. My husband even helped me convert a frame into a shadowbox!
The size is 12x18 because I wanted to get a lot of little detail in it. I think I succeeded! It turned out just how I hoped it would and I hope you enjoy! Since there are SO many cuts, it's impossible for me to get into the sizes of each one but it took me about a week working on it some each day. I hope you can take the time to appreciate all the shading I did and all the shimmers to capture the sunlight. I am an artist at heart so I got to use lots of skills in this creation!

Swarm Projects
I didn't get as much done this weekend as I wanted to, but I did pretty well!
Here is my Easter layout - had such fun with this! Used my new stickles to decorate the eggs and just had a good time! I used 3 Birds on Parade, Create a Critter, and Picturesque on this one.

This was last October at grandma's and I got to break open Kate's ABCs (I bought the night before leaving for the swarm!) and Nate's ABCs on this one! LOVE those carts!

This one was just fun - my silly little man! Used Boys Will Be Boys and 3 Birds on Parade for this one - and stickles, of course!

This was the first layout I did this weekend. I wanted an excuse to use the adorable pianos on Playtime and I did! I also used Twinkle Toes on this too and my glimmer mist for the first time!

Get Well Card
Made a get well card for my daughter's swim instructor. She has been in and out of the hospital and we miss her! That's why it's a mermaid and I put in the inside that her fishies missed her!
