More teacher gifts

While I'm on the topic, here are some cards and fun things I made for my son't teachers for teacher appreciation week. The cards are for his music, preschool, and Spanish teacher, respectively. The lunchbox I decorated and filled with goodies and cut out the fabric bird for a little bag as well. I had SO much fun doing these!

Used Live Simply and Cindy Loo on the lunchbox

I used Nifty Fifties for this bird design I just LOVE!

Teacher Gift

This post is LONG overdue, but I am falling behind on taking photos of my projects as I work at catching up on my scrapbooks this summer! I did this frame and card for my son's preschool teacher. It's generic so she can put her own kids' photos in it. I was even able to use the cutout from the frame in the card!

Imaginisce Sponsor Contest

This one was SO tough for me - yeah right! I love Imaginisce products so it was a cinch to use at least 3 (though I thought it was 4, so I used 4) products in my layout. I took the opportunity to do a sweet layout of my little girl from photos taken a few months ago.

I was even very detailed and took note of what I did! For the cuts, I used Kate's ABCs and Once Upon a Princess. For my Imaginesce products, I used their white flowers and glimmer misted them in Sun Sister, Marmelade, and Rum Punch; I used their Carriage stamp and colored it in and embossed; I used their Fairytale Flowers rubons and the iRock with their gems.
I also incorporated paper from Fairy Tale (Recollections) and About a Girl (Mia - Fancypants). I also used my Cuttlebug D'Vine Swirls & Spots and Dots.

I hope you enjoy, because I had a blast doing it!

Magazine Challenge - Make It Your Way!

One of the contests for this month asks us to take a project that inspired us from the Circle May Magazine and do our own spin on it. This worked out perfect, because I had to make Thank You cards from my daughter's birthday and I loved the card layout on page 41 in the magazine, "thinking of you card"
Here is what I came up with:

I used glimmer mist on white cardstock to create my background image, and cut the duck from Nate's ABC's.
